Penrith Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest

14 April 2007 I visited the Penrith Regional Gallery and it is a great venue that overlooks the Nepean River an idyllic spot to veiw artworks and to become inspired....
The exhibition that was on had Australian artists from the 1930s through to the 1980s alot of work by Gerald and Margo Lewers.
The garden was probably my favourite muse from the visit and the wonderfully modern architecture, through the main entrance of the gallery.
Check it out www.penrithregionalgallery.org I dont know if the website is as good as visiting the place in person.

Arts Law Week Sydney 2007

The Arts law week of Australia have been holding some awesome workshops about Arts Law, it has been great to learn about what kinds of services are available to artists regarding the law. I think they truly understand the trials and tribulations of being an artist especially the feast or famine factors of our work. Check out their website www.artslaw.com.au. They have a free phone number and a great subscriber deal....Take it easy Nina....
